The Norwegian cabins are vacant on average for 316 days a year. There are a total of 448,805 of them, but we want more. Just in the last 20 years 100,000 new cabins have been built. There's no doubt: Norwegians want their cabins – but perhaps it's time we learn to share?

In this project I wanted to shed light on deforestation. With nearly half a million cabins unused most of the year, building new ones only to ruin nature and threaten wildlife suddenly sounds ridicilous. I therefore wanted to explore the idea of a platform for both cabin exchange and rental, and what the campaigns would look like.
